Balance 100% Pharmaceutical Grade HMBprovides Calcium B-Hydroxy B-methylbutyrate, in a pure powder form. HMB is an important anti-catabolic that has shown to support the body's ability to minimise protein breakdown and damage to muscle cells that can occur subsequent to intense training.

HMB is a metabolite of the essential branch chain amino acid (BCAA) L-Leucine. Leucine is a major component of muscle tissue and is metabolised firstly to Keto Isocaproic Acid (KIC) and then to HMB within your body.
